MATCH COUNTS
Please check your match counts on SportWrench carefully to make sure you see all of your assignments.
SCORING - WE WILL BE USING VOLLEYSTATION FOR ALL MATCHES
NOTE: UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE - ENTER SCORES FOR ALL MATCHES IN SPORTWRENCH! THIS WILL BE IN ADDITION TO VOLLEYSTATION.
There are a couple of places in VS where you can see the match scores. There is a screen that comes up as soon as the match is over:
Then there is another screen that comes up after the R1 signs the screen
Tell the scorer that you need to get the match results at the end AND that you both (scorer and R1) need to sign the "scoresheet" (app screen) at the end of the match. They need to wait for you to come over to the table after you get off the stand.
All referees should have completed the US26_603 Course on Volleystation in the USAV Academy. This course was added to your account if you did not self-enroll. In addition please review this additional information

ROSTERS AND REFEREE INFO
Pick up the roster/line up sheets from the Champ Desk, just as if you were picking up a scoresheet
| roster-line_up_sheet.pdf | |
| File Size: | 165 kb |
| File Type: | |
Get the referee info entered into VolleyStation BEFORE the match starts! Brief the scorer as you would for any match. Remind them to watch the server EVERY SERVE and remind them that 99% of the time you only push the buttons for serve and assign point (colored buttons).
We are printing the match header/rosters on the back of the lineup/libero sheets so the rosters appear on the back of the Libero sheet and still handing those out to the officials both days.
Rosters will be under the QR code on YOUR phone. The procedure for checking is similar to the past:
check the roster off your phone - check the number of players and the numbers ON the players. If there is a discrepancy go to the coach. Have them go to the Help Desk for corrections. They will show the corrections to you from their device when they come back from the help desk. NEW: YOU MUST MAKE SURE THE SCORER ENTERS THE CORRECTED ROSTER INFO INTO VOLLEYSTATION BEFORE THE START OF THE MATCH!!!! If the player is not in VS or their number is incorrect the system won't let them into the game.
Liberos - you MUST "start the match" before you try to enter the Liberos. If you don't perform these tasks in that order, the Liberos will show up as regular players and will not be able to be changed after the match starts.
End of match: Be sure to click the final "confirm" button after the ref signs, AND MAKE SURE THE SCORING DEVICE IS CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET (see the green dot) WHEN THEY CLICK TO SUBMIT THE RESULTS.
ALSO - IF YOU THINK THE VOLLEYSTATION SCORE DID NOT GO THROUGH AT THE END OF THE MATCH, GO AHEAD AND ENTER THE SCORE IN SPORTWRENCH. If VolleyStation goes through later it won't impact the results.
If the score of a set gets entered incorrectly in VolleyStation, enter the correct score in SportWrench. Then, enter a remark in VolleyStation indicating the correct score. An example of this happening: There was a replay at the end of a set and the score for the losing team was not correct when the end button was pushed. The score was 25-8 in VS but it should have been 25-10. SportWrench had the correct score, VS will still say 8. To head off any potential coach issues, enter the comment in the VS match indicating the correct score.
Manual changes must be avoided at all costs! The will affect the rotations of the teams and if there is an issue you won't be able to go back and see the correct line ups for the teams.
We are also still requiring teams to have 3 people at the table: 1 person to do VolleyStation and 1 to do the flip score and BallerTV score. It is recommended that the 3rd person uses the Libero Tracking sheet so that there is a record of the Libero serving, and the service order.
THERE MUST BE A ROSTERED ADULT AS EITHER R2 OR ONE OF THE 3 AT THE TABLE.
